Please support your school by buying Christmas raffle tickets for sale at the school gate this week, and by donating baked goods to the Bake Sale. Also, come along and buy some delicious cakes and treats and catch up with other parents for a Christmas cuppa.

All children will be taken to visit the Cake Sale with their classes so will need to bring money in with them on Friday morning.

Due to the school build numbers of visitors to the Hall have to be controlled. So we would like to welcome parents who are collecting children at the 1:35pm pickup to come and visit the bake sale and have a cuppa from 1pm, and that parents on the 2:35pm pickup are welcome from 2pm.

Any children who wish to enter the Bake competition should clearly label their bake as a Competition Entry with their name and class. Prizes to be won!

Please remember to pickup your plates and tins at the end of the school day on Friday.

The raffle will take place at 2pm on Friday.

Notices for week 14th December 2015

The following are the notices for week 14th December 2015.

Staff Car Park:

Children are not allowed to enter or exit the school through the staff car park. This is for the safety of your child/ren.

Christmas Play:

The Junior Infants play “The Sleepy Shepherd” is @ 1pm and the Second class play “Hansel and Gretel” is @ 1:45pm on this Thursday, 17th December 2015.

Christmas Holidays:

ALL children will be going home @ 12pm on next Tuesday, 22nd December 2015 for the Christmas Holidays. The school will re-open on Wednesday, 6th January 2016.

Christmas Raffle Prizes

The Parent Association will be selling raffle tickets at the school pickup times this week. Raffle will take place on Friday Dec 18th at the Bake Sale. Prizes are:

Christmas Cake donated by Frantastic Cakes, valued at €60

2 X €50 Deco bake shopping vouchers, valued at €50 each

2 X Kildare Maze family tickets (2 adults & 3 kids), value €30

2 X Children’s Toys, valued at €25 each

Bottles of wine, valued at €10 each

Box of chocolates, valued at €10

School Calendar

The Calendars will be in the school next week. We have one per family (all classes on one calendar) and if you require more, we should be able to cater for this. If you would like to receive your calendar please send the money in by this coming Monday, 14th December 2015.

A reminder of the prices: €8 for 1, €12 for 2, €16 for 3 and €20 for 4.
