Parents

We have a very active Parent Association in Robertstown National School.  All parents of students in Robertstown National School are automatically members of Robertstown N.S. Parent Association.  It is an important meeting for your Parent Association, and the greater Parent Body of the school, as it is an opportunity for Parents to hear about the work the Parent Association Committee has been carrying out…

Uniforms

Farrells have an online ordering service available year round for any additional orders and the prices. The price list and contact details are available on the school website.

Although the grey jumpers were not on the price list for the girls, these will also be available for purchase and samples of these will be in the school on Saturday. The girls wear the grey jumpers with the maroon pinafores. Girls can also wear a grey skirt or trousers and the maroon jumper would be worn with these.

While the Farrells prices are considerably less than those of Kidstuff even without the additional 10% discount, we are aware that some parents would still like the option of buying from Kidstuff. As a result, Kidstuff in Newbridge have agreed to be an additional supplier for the school. They still hold a small amount of stock for those parents who would prefer to pay in instalments. They will also be keeping a small stock of the uniforms year round for the school. Details of prices for Kidstuff will be available on the website for parents to compare.

There will also be a number of second-hand uniforms available for purchase, including trousers and shirts. If you have any old uniforms you would be willing to donate could you please leave these at the school.

Appointments
Parents/Guardians are reminded to make appointments to speak with a teacher as impromptu meetings take up valuable time from the whole class.  Parents/Guardians are welcome to speak with the Principal, but where possible should also make an appointment with Mona in the office.

May we remind you that:
In the interest of safety scooters, skateboards, roller skates and roller blades are not allowed on the school grounds.
Cycling bicycles is also prohibited on school grounds.
Full school uniform should be worn each day, except for P.E. days or other days designated by teacher/principal.  On these days school tracksuit should be worn with school polo T-shirt.
Shoes not runners should be worn with uniform.
The main gate entrance is the only entrance to be used by the children entering and leaving the school grounds, as the teacher car park area is too dangerous.
To minimise disruption all visitors to the school are asked to report to the office.
Contact numbers and email addresses should be up to date for your child.
