Lá na Gaeilge was a fantastic success. Bhain gach duine taitneamh as, agus bhí craic agus spórt ag gach duine sa scoil. All classes from Junior Infants to Sixth Class entertained us on stage with their Irish songs, poems and wonderful dancing. After the show there was a Tráth na gCeist for children from 4th, 5th and 6th classes. Some 6th class children were on hand to help with a little translating now and again. The overall winners were Arlo Ó Gréachain, Eoghan MacGearailt, Jodie Ní Ghovender, agus Fionn MacGiolla Easpaig. Natasha Ní Logain helped them throughout the quiz, so well done to all of you, maith sibh. It was wonderful to see such enthusiasm from all the children.
Mr. Flanagan held a separate Tráth na gCeist in his class. Bhí an bua ag an Bord Gorm: Cian de Hochtán, Aoife Ní Dhonnchú, Rachel Caomhánach, Kian de Buitléir agus Cameron Mac Uait.
