Robertstown was flooded in emerald green on Thursday 26th of September as crowds of parents, children, teachers, SNA’s, babes in arms and pets turned out for our walk to school to celebrate National Fitness Day, and Ireland’s and other countries represented by children in our school, participation in the the Rugby World Cup. The activities continued throughout the day and well done to the newly elected Active Schools Committee who played a blinder. They helped organised lunchtime activities for all the students AND a full school “Wake Up, Shake Up” exercise to music session after break. Rumour has it that you could hear the children singing “Ireland’s Call” as far away as the Curragh ! Well done to all involved and to the parents who turned up to walk with their children this morning.
