Dear Parents/Guardians,
Just to make you aware, there is a wasp’s nest in the Willow Structure in front of the school. All children (including Junior Infants) are asked to enter the school through the gate by the Tower on left hand side until further notice. They will also be leaving at the end of the day by this gateway. No children are to enter the school by the front door, by the office, when the gate is open.
Religion Programme: Bishop Nulty has approved a whole school in-service of the first formal Primary R.E. Curriculum and the new R.E. Programme for all teachers on Wednesday, 14th September 2016. All children will be going home at 12pm on the day to facilitate this.
First Holy Eucharist: There is a meeting for all parents/guardians of children who will be receiving their First Holy Communion this school year on Wednesday, 21st September 2016 in Allen Church @ 7:30pm. The provisional date for the Communion is Saturday, 13th May 2017 @ 2pm in Allen Church. We have not yet received any information for the Confirmation, as soon as we receive it we will forward it on to all parents/guardians concerned.
Curriculum Resources: The preferred way to pay is through our Aladdin Schools link which was emailed to all families. If you have no access, alternatively, you can send it into the class teacher in an envelope clearly marked with your child’s name, what it is for and the amount.
