Launch Day A Great Success

The launching of the village signs took place on Saturday, 8th May 2010.
The day started with the rasing of the schools third green flag.
This was followed by a parade led by children drumming and groups representing the School Choir, Waterways Ireland, Green schools, Boxing, GAA and Soccer and Irish
Dancing.
The parade stopped in front of the Enterprise Barge where a number of children performed for the community before the last sign was unveiled.
The highlight of the day was the duck race which was very enjoyable!
